PieLine integrates with multiple POS systems including Clover, Toast, Square, and others. When you use Clover as your POS system, we process all payments through the Clover network and comply with all Clover policies and requirements. We do not:

  • Store credit card information or payment data
  • Process payments outside of your chosen POS system's payment network
  • Handle money transmission or payment processing directly
  • Access or store sensitive payment card data

All payment processing is handled securely by your chosen POS system provider in compliance with PCI DSS requirements. When using Clover, we follow all Clover-specific policies and process payments exclusively through the Clover network unless you, as the merchant, request otherwise.

6. SMS/Text Messaging and Communication Preferences

6.1 SMS/Text Messaging

When you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from PieLine:

  • We may send you SMS/text messages about demo calls, order status, reservation updates, and service notifications
  • For restaurant services, we may send transactional messages on behalf of restaurants including order confirmations, pickup notifications, waitlist updates, and reservation changes
  • Message frequency will vary based on your activity, restaurant interactions, and preferences
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or service
  • You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any text message
  • You can reply HELP to any text message for assistance
  • We may use automated systems to send text messages
  • Messages may be sent from PieLine directly or on behalf of participating restaurants

When you interact with restaurants using PieLine's services:

  • Restaurants may collect your phone number during the ordering process
  • By providing your phone number to a restaurant, you consent to receive transactional messages related to that specific order or reservation
  • These may include order confirmations, preparation updates, pickup/delivery notifications, and waitlist communications
  • Each restaurant interaction constitutes separate consent for that specific transaction
  • You can opt-out of future messages from any restaurant by replying STOP
  • Opting out from one restaurant does not affect communications from other restaurants or PieLine directly

6.4 Communication Consent

By providing your contact information and agreeing to our terms:

  • You consent to receive communications necessary for providing our services
  • You may separately consent to receive promotional communications
