("Aereus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our voice-based artificial intelligence ordering and communications services (the "Services") and our website (currently available at getpieline.com or any successor site).
Aereus provides technology services to restaurants and other businesses (each, a "Client"). End customers of our Clients ("Customers") may interact with the Services through voice calls, messages, or other communications initiated by or on behalf of a Client.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Provided by Clients
Clients may provide information to us in connection with their use of the Services, including:
- Contact and account information
- Business details (restaurant name, locations, hours, menus, pricing)
- Configuration and integration information
- Order routing preferences and operational data
- Communications with Aereus support
1.2 Information Collected During Customer Interactions
When Customers interact with the Services on behalf of a Client, we may process information such as:
- Call metadata (phone numbers, timestamps, duration)
- Call recordings and transcripts
- Order details (items, quantities, modifiers, special instructions)
- Customer-provided information (name, phone number, delivery or pickup details, dietary or allergy-related notes)
- Communications generated or transmitted through the Services
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect:
- Log and usage data
- Device, browser, and IP address information
- Website analytics and cookies
- Service performance and diagnostic data
1.4 Third-Party Sources
We may receive information from third parties, including:
- Voice and AI processing providers
- POS and ordering platforms designated by Clients
- Payment processors used by Clients
- Analytics and infrastructure providers
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Route calls and communications
- Process and transmit orders to Clients or their designated systems
- Generate transcripts, summaries, and analytics
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Communicate with Clients regarding service updates, billing, and account matters
- Send transactional messages on behalf of Clients
- Improve and develop the Services
- Monitor usage, prevent misuse, and enforce our terms
- Comply with legal obligations
Aereus does not use Customer data for independent marketing purposes.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers and subprocessors that support the operation of the Services
- Client-designated integrations, such as POS or delivery platforms
- Payment processors, solely in connection with Client-selected payment flows
- Legal and regulatory authorities, when required by law
- Successors in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers
- Other parties with consent or at Client direction

4. Client and Customer Roles
Clients control how the Services are used in connection with their businesses and are responsible for:
- Determining what information is collected from Customers
- Providing legally required notices
- Obtaining all required consents (including for call recording, transcription, messaging, and communications)
- Complying with applicable privacy, communications, and consumer protection laws
Customers should contact the applicable Client regarding questions about how their information is used in connection with a specific order or interaction.
5. Call Recording and Communications
Calls processed through the Services may be recorded or transcribed. Notice that calls may be recorded is provided at the beginning of calls. Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable recording and consent laws.
Aereus does not control the content of Client communications with Customers and acts solely as a technology provider.
6. SMS, Text, and Email Communications
6.1 Transactional Communications
The Services may send transactional messages (such as order confirmations or updates) on behalf of Clients. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
6.2 Consent and Opt-Out
Customers may opt out of transactional messages by replying STOP. Opting out applies only to the specific sender or transaction and does not affect other communications.
6.3 Promotional Communications
Aereus sends promotional communications only with explicit consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
7. Payment Processing
Aereus does not store or process credit card information. Payments are processed through Client-selected POS systems or payment processors. Aereus does not act as a payment processor or money transmitter.
8. Data Security and Retention
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
We retain information only as long as necessary for business, operational, and legal purposes. Retention periods may vary based on Client configuration and legal requirements.
9. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than where it was collected. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent
- Request data portability
